Gmork Scam Guard

Scam protection for small business email

Small-business inboxes get fake vendor invoices, new bank details, and messages that look like a partner or a customer. Gmork Scam Guard Workplace is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge on the office computers. It warns staff before they click, sign in or pay. Business use is not covered by the free home plan. Workplace starts at 5 seats for $25 a month, with a 14-day free trial and no card needed.

What the office gets

What staff see

A warning on a fake sign-in page, a look-alike sender, a link that does not go where the text says, a payment to new bank details, a gift-card request, or a prompt to install remote access. For an unknown sender, only the bare domain is sent to gmork.com to check for no working website, a forward to another site, or a newly registered domain.

Workplace, not the home plan

Workplace is required for a business of any size, including 1 to 5 people. It adds the AI check on every seat, a seat dashboard, settings staff cannot turn off, and IT alerts. The alert says the kind of warning and the time, not the message. Prices: 5 seats at $25 a month ($250 a year), 10 at $40 ($400), 20 at $60 ($600), 100 at $200 ($2,000) and 1,000 at $1,000 ($10,000). 10,000 seats is arranged by contacting the site. Annual price is ten times the monthly price. A medical or dental office can turn on HIPAA-safe mode, which turns the AI check off.

What it will not do

It will not catch every scam, and it does not replace calling a vendor on a number you already have before you change where money goes. It runs on desktop Chrome and Edge, not on phones. It does not read passwords or card numbers.

Questions

Can we use the free extension at the office?

No. Free, Plus and Family are for personal home use. A business needs Workplace, whatever its size.

Does it store our email?

No. gmork.com stores counts, not messages. The optional AI check sends a cleaned-up copy only when it is on. Sender checks send the bare domain only.

Is there a trial?

Yes. Workplace has a 14-day free trial, no card needed, even if someone already tried a home plan. If you do not add a card by the end, nothing is charged and checking stops on the office computers.

Start a Workplace trial

14 days, no card. Then add it to Chrome or Edge on the office computers.
