Is this website or email legit?
Type a website, a link or an email address. Gmork looks up plain facts about the domain behind it, such as how old it is, whether a real website answers and where it forwards, and explains why each one matters.
- Only the domain is checked
- We don’t keep a list of what you look up
- Facts, not a verdict
Only the domain is sent to Gmork, never the rest of an email address or link. We don’t store which domains you look up, and we don’t keep IP addresses.
Questions about the website checker
Does this tell me whether a website is a scam?
No. It shows facts about the domain and why each one matters, so you can decide. When in doubt, contact the company through a website or phone number you already know, not the one in the message.
Can I check an email address?
Yes. Paste the whole address: your browser keeps only the part after the @ sign, and only that domain is sent to Gmork.
Why does the age of a domain matter?
Scammers keep registering new domains because old ones get reported and blocked. A domain that is only days or weeks old deserves extra care, especially when it asks for money or a login.
What happens to the domains I check?
Gmork counts how many checks are made in total. It doesn’t store which domains are looked up or who looked them up. Results are held in memory for up to an hour so a repeat check is fast.
